The CPD pilot to test Call & Review ended in 2008. As part of the pilot the Society commissioned a piece of independent research from the Welsh School of Pharmacy to investigate the views of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who participated. The Welsh School of Pharmacy’s report can be viewed here. Research indicates that overall the pilot participants’ prior expectations of the CPD feedback had been met or exceeded in the majority of cases, and that most participants felt fully or mostly able to complete their CPD records in future. This bodes very well for the roll-out of Call and Review, which is due to start in July 2009. You can find more in-depth information about the CPD pilots by clicking here.
